Job Title: Configuration Control Specialist / BOM Manager

About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Configuration Control Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building and managing complex Bills of Materials (BOMs), overseeing engineering changes, and ensuring the seamless transition of products from development to production.

Key Responsibilities

• BOM Management: Create and maintain multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs), including items, sub-assemblies, and final configurations.
• Data Integrity: Manage item lifecycles in Priority (creation, updates, and cataloging).
• System Administration: Administer and maintain PLM/PDM and Priority systems, ensuring accurate data, document control, and versioning.
• Engineering Documentation: Prepare comprehensive production files, including drawings, assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical procedures.
• Engineering Change Management: Lead ECO (Engineering Change Order) processes, coordinating closely with R&D and Manufacturing departments.
• Configuration Control: Implement and monitor configuration control methodologies across various projects.
• Technical Literacy: Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: B.Sc. or Practical Engineer (Handesai) in Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Configuration Control, BOM management, or Item Management.
• System Proficiency: Hands-on experience with PLM/PDM systems and Priority — Mandatory.
• Technical Knowledge: Proven expertise in BOM structures, manufacturing processes, and NPI (New Product Introduction) workflows.
• Excel Power User: Mastery of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and advanced data analysis).
• Language Skills: High proficiency in English (written and verbal), with a focus on technical documentation.
• Technical Expertise: Familiarity with manufacturing technologies and electronic component specifications.
