QA Team Lead – Web & Mobile

As a QA Team Lead – Digital Applications, you will lead and professionally mentor a team of QA Engineers responsible for testing complex Web and Mobile applications. You will oversee end-to-end testing activities, coordinate multiple projects and interfaces, and ensure high-quality delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines people management, QA expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and ownership of complex testing processes. You will work closely with Development, System Analysis, DevOps, Business and additional QA teams, while driving testing activities from requirements through execution and production readiness.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and professionally mentor a team of at least 5 QA Engineers
• Manage end-to-end testing activities for digital Web and Mobile applications
• Plan, prioritize and coordinate multiple testing activities and projects simultaneously
• Review business and system requirements and translate them into structured test plans and testing processes
• Collaborate closely with Development, System Analysts, DevOps, Business stakeholders and additional QA teams
• Manage and document testing processes, defects, statuses, risks and ongoing tasks
• Take ownership of large-scale and high-volume testing activities
• Make independent decisions and drive execution in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment
• Prepare presentations and present project status and progress in steering committees
• Drive QA methodologies, working processes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure high standards of quality, accuracy and delivery, including under pressure and tight timelines
• Lead, motivate and support team members in achieving professional and project goals
• Support testing activities during non-standard working hours when required

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience managing a QA team of at least 4 QA Engineers – Must
• Hands-on experience testing digital Web and Mobile applications – Must
• Proven experience managing multiple tasks and testing activities simultaneously in a dynamic environment – Must
• Experience working across multiple organizational interfaces, including Development, System Analysis, DevOps and Business teams – Must
• Strong ability to manage and document processes, defects, statuses and tasks in a structured manner – Must
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively and make decisions in a multi-tasking environment – Must
• Experience reading and understanding requirement documents and translating them into test plans – Must
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Must
• Willingness and availability to work non-standard hours when required – Must
• Experience in a banking or financial organization – Strong Advantage
• Experience building QA methodologies, work processes and process improvement initiatives – Strong Advantage
• Experience working with AI tools – Strong Advantage
• Experience working with Jira and Xray test management tools – Strong Advantage
