About the role

Energix is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Project Finance Analyst to join its Project Finance team. The role provides an opportunity to work on large-scale and complex financing transactions, primarily in the renewable energy sector, and to be involved throughout the full financing process—from financial analysis and structuring through due diligence, documentation, and financial closing. This is a demanding, hands-on position that requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, excellent English, and a high level of commitment. The successful candidate will work closely with our Project Finance teams across the different markets in which we operate, as well as with financial institutions, investors, advisors, and other external counterparties on significant financing transactions. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of complex assignments, and putting in the effort required to successfully execute major transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the structuring and execution of large-scale project finance transactions, including debt and tax equity financings.
• Build, review, and analyze complex financial models, including debt sizing, tax equity structures, sensitivities, and financing scenarios.
• Participate in all stages of financing transactions, from initial structuring and lender/investor discussions through due diligence, documentation, and financial close.
• Analyze project economics, financing alternatives, transaction structures, and key commercial and financial risks.
• Coordinate and work closely with banks, investors, legal counsel, financial advisors, consultants, and other transaction counterparties.
• Manage and analyze significant amounts of financial, commercial, technical, and contractual information as part of transaction due diligence.
• Review financing documentation and support the negotiation and execution of key commercial and financial terms.
• Work closely with Energix's business development, legal, engineering, accounting, and management teams to successfully execute transactions.
• Prepare financial analyses, presentations, transaction materials, and management updates.
• Take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliver accurate, high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Support multiple transactions and priorities simultaneously in a high-intensity, execution-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Prior experience in project finance – minimum 2 years.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or another relevant quantitative field.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to understand and analyze complex financial and commercial issues.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Excellent English, both written and spoken – required. The role involves extensive interaction, documentation, and negotiations in English.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage demanding workloads and tight transaction deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to put in the effort required to execute complex financing transactions.
• Ability to independently manage tasks and take ownership while working effectively as part of a broader transaction team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with international banks, investors, or financing transactions – an advantage.
• Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure financing – an advantage.
