About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Product Manager to drive our product planning, automotive certification (homologation), competitor intelligence, and market adaptation in Israel. You will play a vital role in bringing new vehicle models to the Israeli market from regulatory compliance to successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Planning: Conduct market analysis to identify segment opportunities. Define product positioning, configurations, and specs tailored to local Israeli customer needs.
• Vehicle Certification & Homologation: Lead vehicle homologation and regulatory approval processes with Israeli authorities (Ministry of Transport), ensuring full compliance with EU (WVTA) / US (FMVSS) standards.
• Competitive Intelligence: Build and maintain a database tracking competitor pricing, specs, and launch strategies.
• Customer Insights & Testing: Gather end-user requirements via surveys/focus groups and organize vehicle test drives (including benchmark vehicles) to validate product localization.
• Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with After-Sales on quality solutions and support Marketing/Sales teams with product training and launch collateral.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fields.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in automotive product management with a proven track record of successful vehicle launches.
• Regulatory Expertise: Hands-on experience with Israeli automotive regulations and official certification processes (EU WVTA / US FMVSS standards) is critical.
• Skills: Strong analytical, project management, and relationship-building capabilities with regulatory bodies.
• Languages: Fluency in both Hebrew and English is mandatory.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, cross-cultural startup environment.
