Construction Project Manager

Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join its New Construction Department and lead complex construction and renovation projects from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the planning and execution of construction projects, including new buildings and complex renovations.
• Take full responsibility for project programs, cost estimates, specifications, and significant project budgets.
• Prepare project budgets and conduct ongoing budget monitoring and control.
• Manage project schedules, budget frameworks, and compliance with approved project programs.
• Coordinate and supervise changes and additions throughout project execution.
• Oversee project completion, handover, commissioning, and warranty periods.
• Coordinate the work of architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the department’s professional activities and undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience in the coordination, supervision, and management of construction and renovation projects.
• Experience negotiating with contractors and suppliers.
• Experience working with AutoCAD, MS Project, Dekel, Binarit, or HaMaagar HaMeshulav.
