Senior Systems Engineer. Build the system. Break it. Understand it. Make it work.

Some engineering problems can be solved within a single discipline.

This isn’t one of them. We’re building complex physical systems where RF, hardware, sensing, software, algorithms, and mechanics have to work together — reliably, in the real world.

We’re looking for a Senior Systems Engineer who wants to be right in the middle of that complexity.

Not someone who only writes requirements or manages interfaces.

And not someone who throws problems over the wall to another team.

We’re looking for an engineer who wants to understand the whole system, get hands-on, find out what’s actually going on, and make it work.

What You’ll Do

You’ll take ownership of the system from early definition all the way to real-world performance.

• Define what the system needs to do — and turn ambiguous needs into measurable technical requirements.
• Shape system architecture and define how hardware, RF, sensing, software, algorithms, and mechanical components interact.
• Own critical interfaces between disciplines and make sure the entire system behaves as one.
• Build prototypes and experiments to answer questions.
• Get into the lab, measure things, break things, investigate unexpected behavior, and figure out why the system is doing what it’s doing.
• Lead system integration and validation — from first bring-up to full system performance.
• Diagnose problems that cross disciplinary boundaries and drive them to root cause.
• Lead technical discussions and design reviews with experienced engineers across the organization.
• Make system-level trade-offs and technical decisions when there is no obvious answer.
• Take what you learn from integration and field deployment and feed it back into the design.
• Become one of the people the engineering team relies on when a problem is too complex to belong to just one discipline.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or a closely related engineering role.
• Deep understanding of hardware and RF systems.
• Experience working with complex physical products where multiple engineering disciplines need to work together.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, requirements, interfaces, integration, and verification/validation.
• Hands-on experience with system debugging, measurements, experiments, and laboratory equipment.
• A track record of taking ownership of technical problems beyond the boundaries of a single discipline.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to turn ambiguous system behavior into a structured investigation.
• The confidence to make technical decisions with incomplete information.
• A B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.

You’ll stand out if you also have

• Embedded software / firmware experience.
• Strong software or algorithms understanding.
• Experience with sensing technologies.
• Experience with radar, RF communications, electro-optics, autonomous systems, robotics, or other complex sensor-driven systems.
• Experience debugging and deploying systems in the field.
• Experience in a startup or highly dynamic R&D environment.
