Quality Technologist

A leading company is seeking a Quality Technologist for a key role involving responsibility for supplier quality management, product quality and safety assurance, and supporting quality processes throughout the supply chain and production operations.

The position includes working with suppliers in Israel and abroad, leading quality initiatives and risk control processes, while ensuring high standards of product quality and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier quality for raw materials and packaging, including ongoing communication, collection of certifications and documentation, and resolution of quality gaps.
• Lead production trials for new raw materials and packaging, perform on-site adjustments, analyze results, and prepare reports.
• Conduct supplier audits, approve new suppliers, and manage the supplier risk assessment matrix.
• Provide professional support to Quality Control teams and serve as a technical quality liaison with customers.
• Document, monitor, and manage quality data within the Priority ERP system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Food Technology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Quality Technologist or in quality-related roles within the food industry or process manufacturing industry - mandatory.
• Experience working with suppliers and conducting supplier audits - mandatory.
• Familiarity with food quality and food safety standards - a significant advantage.
• Experience working with the Priority ERP system - an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• high-level English proficiency.
