Investment Analyst (Fundamental Equity Research / Idea Generation)

Role Description

The Investment Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Yaqum. The analyst will support the investment team by conducting market and company research, building and maintaining financial models, and performing detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis on potential investments. Day-to-day work includes monitoring portfolio performance, preparing investment memos and presentations, and assisting in due diligence processes. The role involves close collaboration with senior team members, participation in investment committee discussions, and ongoing tracking of industry trends and financial news relevant to existing and prospective investments.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience generating investment ideas on the buy-side (hedge fund) on US & EU-listed equities, and particular experience in the tech sector.
• Strong foundation in investments and portfolio management, with the ability to evaluate opportunities and contribute to portfolio construction.
• Advanced analytical skills and experience in financial modeling, including scenario analysis and valuation techniques.
• Solid understanding of finance principles, capital markets, and corporate financial statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are an advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools; familiarity with financial databases and research platforms is beneficial.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrate independent judgment, and uphold high ethical and professional standards.
