Procurement & Contracts Coordinator – Temporary Position

Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is seeking a Procurement & Contracts Coordinator to join the Contracts & Accounts Section within the Procurement and Supply Department, Finance Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents and formulate commercial terms for contractual agreements in accordance with applicable tender regulations.
• Publish tenders and monitor the implementation of Tender Committee decisions.
• Prepare and analyze data related to tenders, agreements, suppliers, and procurement activities.
• Assist in drafting and managing contractual agreements, including monitoring agreement validity, insurance requirements, and guarantees.
• Review and process contractor and supplier invoices.
• Prepare purchase orders, obtain quotations, and conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor and update project and operational budgets.
• Prepare and maintain statistical and management reports.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; preference for Economics, Logistics, Business Administration, or Law. Practical Engineering diploma may also be considered.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in commercial negotiations and contract preparation – an advantage.

Position Details

• Full-time position (100%).
• Temporary replacement position for a period of one year.
