VP Operations & Transformation - Position No. 1736

IBI Stock Exchange Services is seeking a VP Operations & Transformation to lead the company's end-to-end operations organization, with overall responsibility for trading, clearing, custody, treasury and securities operations, while driving operational and technological transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all operational activities of the Stock Exchange Member, including trading, clearing, custody, Israeli and international securities operations, NIS and FX treasury activities, OTC operations, and coordination with stock exchanges, banks, custodians, and financial institutions in Israel and globally.
• Drive operational transformation, digitization, and technology-enabled automation initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, control, decision-making, and service levels.
• Design and develop scalable operational infrastructure to support business growth and expanding client activity.
• Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives in partnership with Technology, Product, Finance, Risk Management, Compliance, and Business teams.
• Oversee operational risk management, internal controls, and business continuity within a complex regulatory environment.
• Define and manage operational KPIs and SLAs, analyze performance, and drive data-driven continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with senior management on business growth initiatives, new products, and strategic projects.
• Lead, develop, and mentor operational leadership teams while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of senior operations management experience within capital markets, banking, financial services, or related industries.
• Significant experience within a Stock Exchange Member organization and/or in trading, clearing, custody, and securities operations.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale operational and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing managers and large operational teams in complex organizations.
• Deep understanding of operational risk management, governance, and controls within a regulated environment.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and collaborate at Executive Management and Board levels.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
