About the Project
The project combines brain imaging (fNIRS), hormonal measures, and intensive longitudinal designs (ecological momentary assessment), focusing on how adolescents' emotional difficulties affect their parents' emotions over time.
Role Description
The postdoc will work closely with the PI and help manage the project from its early stages, including managing a team of PhD students, master's students, and research assistants. Exact areas of responsibility will be determined partly based on the candidate's interests and strengths. The position requires on-campus presence in Ramat Gan several days a week.
Possible Areas of Responsibility
• Leading papers and presenting findings at conferences
• Contributing to the project's intellectual direction, including developing independent research questions from the data
• Writing grants for follow-up directions
• Data management and analysis (multilevel/dyadic models and similar approaches)
• Assisting with participant recruitment, coordination, and running research sessions
• Managing and training research assistants
Requirements
• Strong organizational skills REQUIRED
• Full proficiency in English (speaking and writing) REQUIRED
• PhD in clinical/developmental psychology, neuroscience, education, or a related field REQUIRED
• Strong methodological/statistical background; experience with longitudinal or intensive longitudinal (EMA) data ADVANTAGE
• Experience working with human/adolescent subjects ADVANTAGE
• Lab management experience ADVANTAGE
