AI software Team Lead

About the Role

Join Amital Data, a leading company in its field, as we bring AI into our existing core products while building the next generation of AI-First solutions.

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on AI Software Team Lead to lead a small, high-impact AI team of approximately 4 people, including QA.

The team is responsible for both building AI infrastructure and reusable capabilities and delivering AI-driven use cases across our existing products and our new AI-First platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an AI team of approximately 4 people, including QA, both professionally and managerially.
• Lead the development of AI infrastructure — reusable infrastructure, components, services, and capabilities across products and use cases, under the guidance of the CTO.
• Lead the development of AI use cases that address real business processes and customer needs.
• Lead the development of solutions based on Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI.
• Own code quality, development processes, testing, and bringing AI solutions to a Production-ready state.
• Take hands-on responsibility for developing AI solutions, primarily using Python.
• Work closely with Product, Architecture, Development, and QA teams.
• Mentor team members and support their professional growth.
• Drive end-to-end delivery, from ideation and PoC through to stable Production solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on capabilities.
• 2–3 years of experience leading a development team, professionally and/or managerially.
• Proven experience developing AI/ML, Generative AI, or LLM-based solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience building AI infrastructure, AI platforms, or reusable AI components.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into existing software products and business processes.
• Experience developing AI-First systems or LLM/Agent-based solutions.
• Experience working with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience working in cloud environments, particularly Azure.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Vector Databases, and Agent frameworks.
• Experience taking products or systems from PoC to Production.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field – an advantage.
