Principal Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer who can drive the development of our infrastructure platform. You'll be working on cloud-based solutions, developing automation tools, and building systems that enhance our development and deployment capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while solving complex infrastructure challenges.

The Infrastructure team is responsible for building and maintaining core automation systems, cloud infrastructure, and developer tools that power our products. We work extensively with Python, Azure cloud services, and modern DevOps practices to create scalable and reliable solutions.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on infrastructure, DevOps and CI systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python/Go and backend development.
• Strong, hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Experience with test infrastructure and CI reliability engineering (e.g, test stability analysis, execution optimization).
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), including managing test environments (ephemeral and persistent).
• Experience with infrastructure automation and IaC.
• Experience with observability/monitoring tooling (e.g. Grafana, dashboards, metrics pipelines).
• Working experience with Azure cloud services (e.g. AKS, Blob Storage).
• Comfortable working in Linux environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and comfort operating under release-pressure/escalation conditions.
• Strong cross-team communication - you'll regularly work with engineers across many different teams to triage and resolve failures.
  
  

• Experience with test automation frameworks beyond Python - e.g. TypeScript/Playwright.
• Experience building or integrating AI/LLM-assisted developer tooling.
• Comfort with statistical or data-driven decision systems (e.g. scoring/classification logic, not just rule-based automation).
• Experience with workflow engines and their implementation.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Knowledge of frontend development.
• Experience with high-availability systems.
• Background in API development and integration.
• Experience with security best practices and implementation.
