AI & Automation Specialist

We are looking for a hands-on AI & Automation Specialist to help an established professional services organization integrate AI into its day-to-day work and build practical automation solutions across the business.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how to identify repetitive or inefficient processes, translate business needs into practical AI solutions, and implement tools that employees can actually use.

What You’ll Do:

• Map existing workflows and identify opportunities for AI and automation.
• Implement AI tools across day-to-day business processes.
• Build workflows and automations for repetitive tasks.
• Improve processes around presentations, proposals, documents, research, and client-facing materials.
• Apply AI to research, information analysis, writing, summarization, and knowledge management.
• Build internal AI agents and lightweight tools based on business needs.
• Work with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and automation/no-code platforms.
• Evaluate new AI tools and technologies and identify practical use cases.
• Train employees and create workflows that enable teams to use AI independently and effectively.
• Work closely with non-technical stakeholders to understand needs and turn them into usable solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Significant hands-on experience implementing AI, Generative AI, and automation solutions.
• Experience building AI workflows and automations, not just using AI tools.
• Hands-on experience with platforms such as Make, Zapier, n8n, or similar tools.
• Strong ability to understand business processes and translate them into simple and effective technology solutions.
• Strong product and UX mindset, with a focus on real user needs.
• Excellent communication and training skills, including working with non-technical teams.
• Experience in architecture, design, engineering, construction, or other project-based professional environments is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with tools such as Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, or similar professional workflows is an advantage.

Engagement:

This opportunity may also suit an experienced freelance AI consultant or automation specialist looking for an ongoing engagement of several hours or one to two days per week.

The goal is to build long-term AI capabilities and practical automation processes across the organization.
