Senior AI & Backend Engineer – Agentic AI

We are hiring on behalf of a technology-driven organization for a Senior AI & Backend Engineer to build production-grade AI products used in real-world environments.

This is a hands-on engineering role combining Agentic AI, Python, and C#/.NET backend development. You’ll take ownership of AI agents from concept to production — designing workflows, connecting agents to real systems and data, and building the backend infrastructure and APIs that support them.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and deploy production AI agents and multi-step agentic workflows.
• Build with LangGraph and other modern agent orchestration frameworks.
• Connect AI agents to REST APIs, databases, and external tools and services.
• Develop RAG pipelines, including embeddings, vector search, and retrieval optimization.
• Build agent capabilities including tool calling, memory, state management, human-in-the-loop flows, tracing, evaluation, and reliability.
• Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using C#/.NET.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures.
• Integrate AI services with existing .NET systems and production data.
• Work closely with Product to translate business requirements into production-ready AI solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve engineering quality and development processes.

What You Bring:

• 1+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying LLM agents or agentic systems in production – required.
• Experience with LangGraph or similar frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel.
• Strong Python development skills, including async programming and FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with RAG, tool/function calling, memory, state management, and multi-agent workflows.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI.
• 3+ years of C#/.NET backend development experience – required.
• Strong experience designing REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
• 3+ years of SQL Server experience, including schema design, queries, and stored procedures.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core.
• Ability to work effectively with existing codebases and production systems.
• Experience using modern AI coding tools.

Nice to Have:

Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone or OpenSearch, MCP, AWS or Azure, LLM observability and evaluation tools, and CI/CD environments.
