Flight Test Engineer

The Flight Test Center within the Aviation Group is seeking a Flight Test Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the flight test phase from test planning through the execution of flight test missions.

• Manage complex flight tests of manned and unmanned aircraft, both onboard the aircraft and from the ground control station.

• Work across a wide range of flight-related disciplines, including aircraft performance, flight control, various payloads, weapon systems, and more.

• Participate in the development of new aircraft, as well as upgrades and modifications of existing platforms, supporting the process from the design stage through the flight test phase.

• Manage the planning and implementation of airborne instrumentation systems tailored to specific flight tests.

What Are We Looking For?

• B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering – required.

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering – a significant advantage.

• Good command of English, including speaking, reading, and writing – required.

• Aviation background, such as aircrew, UAV operators, simulator instructors, private pilots, or model aircraft pilots – a significant advantage.

Our Flight Test Center plans and executes flight test programs for our customers. These tests are backed by decades of experience in testing both military and civilian aircraft, ranging from minor aircraft modifications to full civil certification of newly designed aircraft.

The Flight Test Center provides comprehensive capabilities for testing new aircraft, new configurations, and new systems. Each flight test involves multidisciplinary teamwork, bringing together engineers, specialized test pilots or UAV operators, as well as technical and other support teams.In this role, you will play a significant part in a diverse range of engineering, operational, and technical activities.
