ServiceNow Implementation Specialist

Location: North district — role within a high-impact defense/technology organization (on-site/secure environment as required)

About the role: We are looking for a ServiceNow Implementation Specialist to implement service requests and workflows on a leading low-code service-management platform. You will analyze business needs, map requirements to platform capabilities, troubleshoot integrations, and lead development projects from design through delivery. This is a matrixed role: you’ll work closely with product owners, QA, infrastructure and cyber teams to deliver secure, reliable service solutions that maximize customer value.

Key responsibilities

• Implement service requests, workflows and process automations on a low-code platform (ServiceNow preferred).
• Understand platform architecture, components and interfaces; investigate faults and operate integrations across teams.
• Translate business needs into optimal platform solutions with a customer-value mindset.
• Lead development projects: scope, plan, track and deliver work packages.
• Collaborate with product managers, testers, infrastructure and cybersecurity teams in a matrixed environment.
• Produce documentation, runbooks and handover materials; ensure secure configuration and compliance with organizational standards.

Required qualifications

• Academic degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in system implementation, requirements analysis or business/process analysis.
• Practical experience implementing or configuring ServiceNow — significant advantage.
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (examples: BMI, UiPath, Salesforce) — advantage.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and Angular (implementation/scripting) — advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-communication skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and delivering projects end-to-end.

Nice-to-have

• Prior experience in secure or classified environments.
• Knowledge of ITSM best practices, CMDB, incident/change/problem workflows.
• Understanding of integrations (APIs, webhooks) and basic automation scripting.
