QC Biochemistry Analyst

Protalix Bio Therapeutics is an innovative biopharmaceutical company specializing in the production of recombinant protein drugs using plant cell technology.

We’re looking for an Analyst to join the Biochemistry Laboratory within the QC Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform biochemical and cell-based analytical testing in a GMP-regulated QC environment, including ELISA, Western Blot, Enzymatic activity assays, and assays involving Tissue cultures.
• Perform analytical method validation activities and evaluate experimental data.
• Document and report analytical results in accordance with GMP requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation in English.
• Work with a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to details.
• Write and update QC documentation, including procedures, test methods, worksheets, protocols, and reports.

Key Requirements:

• At least 1 year of relevant hands-on experience in an analytical laboratory including biochemical and/or cell-based analytical methods and laboratory equipment
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry an advantage.
• Experience working under GMP requirements, an advantage.
• High level of responsibility, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Very good communication skills – English and Hebrew.

Education:

B.Sc/ B.A. degree in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Life Science or a related field.
