Manufacturing Engineering Manager 243364

A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing engineering activities and drive operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Define priorities, allocate resources, and manage departmental workload.
• Mentor and develop engineering team members while supporting their professional growth.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Optimize manufacturing and assembly processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve workflow and operational performance.
• Lead equipment and process validation activities, including protocol definition and execution oversight.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and transfer of new products into production.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Lead engineering projects focused on process improvements, equipment upgrades, and manufacturing excellence.
• Develop departmental work plans, monitor progress, and ensure achievement of operational objectives.
• Analyze manufacturing performance and implement corrective and preventive actions when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience managing Manufacturing Engineering and/or Process Engineering teams.
• Proven managerial experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, assembly, and industrial processes.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading NPI and product transfer activities.
• Familiarity with ERP and/or MES systems is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and project management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.
