Comblack is hiring a Mainframe COBOL Developer for a leading financial organization in Central Israel! 🚀

A unique opportunity to join a major Mainframe Modernization initiative, migrating Legacy systems to modern Cloud architecture, powered by cutting-edge AI tools.

Role Responsibilities:

• COBOL development within an enterprise Mainframe environment
• Hands-on work with CICS, ESB, JCL, REXX, and DB2
• Development across both Online & Batch processing
• Deep troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of complex production issues
• Utilizing AI-driven development & migration tools

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of proven experience in COBOL Mainframe (MF) – Mandatory
• Hands-on proficiency with CICS, ESB integrations, and JCL – Mandatory
• Prior experience within a banking or financial enterprise – Advantage
• Working knowledge of DB2 and VSAM – Advantage
• Practical experience working with AI tools & modern modernization workflows – Significant Advantage
