Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Hydrocycle LTD is a full-time, on-site role based in Hogla, responsible for leading the company’s technology vision and execution across hydrological modeling, digital twin platforms, and urban resilience solutions. The CTO oversees software and product development teams, defines system architecture, and ensures that technology initiatives align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and client needs. Day-to-day activities include setting technical strategy, guiding the design and implementation of core platforms, managing project roadmaps, and collaborating closely with engineering, product, and operations teams. The role involves establishing best practices, driving innovation in data, IoT, and modeling capabilities, supporting pre-sales and client engagements with technical expertise, and ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and reliable. The CTO is expected to mentor technical staff, build a strong engineering culture, and represent Hydrocycle’s technological capabilities to partners, clients, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Software Development, including experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex, data-driven platforms.
• Proficiency in Architecture and IT Strategy, with a track record of designing scalable, secure systems and aligning technology roadmaps with business goals.
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management, overseeing multi-disciplinary projects from concept to deployment within defined timelines and budgets.
• Proven ability in Product Development, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver market-ready solutions.
• Experience in domains such as hydrological modeling, digital twins, smart cities, environmental engineering, or urban infrastructure is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-informed decisions under uncertainty.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Previous leadership experience in a senior technology role; advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
