snapland is building the AI-native intelligence platform for real estate - transforming fragmented property, planning, market, and proprietary data into actionable insights and workflows for real estate professionals.

Our platform combines deep, geo-referenced real estate data with AI agents to help companies identify opportunities, evaluate assets, conduct due diligence, monitor changes, and make better decisions throughout the real estate transaction lifecycle.

Starting with some of Europe’s most complex real estate markets, we’re building the infrastructure and intelligence layer that turns local real estate data into scalable, decision-ready workflows.

About the Role

As our Team Lead Developer, you'll manage and mentor a small, high-impact team of engineers working at the intersection of AI, big data, and real estate. You’ll drive architectural decisions, lead product execution, and work across the stack to deliver scalable backend systems and intuitive user-facing features.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing team of full-stack developers in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment.

• Design and implement scalable backend services (microservices APIs, intelligent crawlers, real-time data pipelines) and integrate AI agents and LLM capabilities across the stack.

• Contribute to cutting-edge frontend development (React/Next.js) delivering seamless user experiences powered by intelligent automation and language model integrations.

• Define and execute engineering excellence through robust architecture, automated code quality frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and zero-downtime deployment strategies.

• Collaborate directly with CTO, product managers, and data teams to ship market-disrupting features.

• Leverage autonomous agents and advanced LLM methodologies to drive innovation and optimize development workflows.

• Build strong engineering culture and architect the team's long-term technical roadmap centered on AI innovation and next-generation agent orchestration.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing or leading a small development team.

• Deep backend expertise, particularly with Python, FastAPI, and data-heavy systems.

• Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and distributed infrastructure.

• Practical experience with React, Next.js, and modern frontend standards.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with AI/LLM-powered products or information retrieval systems is a strong advantage.

• Bonus: experience working with geospatial data or geography-related systems
