About the Role

The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for the efficient receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, handling, and dispatch of goods, while maintaining accurate records and high standards of safety, quality, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Store goods in designated locations and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and on time for dispatch.
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies, damages, and slow-moving items.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation, reports, and records.
• Support stock reconciliation and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of goods to minimize damage and losses.
• Work closely with procurement, logistics, sales, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stock control and inventory management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS or inventory management systems is an added advantage.
