Operations Supervisor

We are looking for a passionate, energetic and hands-on Operations Supervisor to join our hotel team in Stone Town, Zanzibar.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll take ownership of your shift, bring our hotel teams together and make sure every guest experiences warm, seamless and memorable hospitality.

This is a role for someone who loves being on the floor, leading from the front, engaging with guests and making things happen.

What will you be doing?

• Lead the hotel operation during your assigned shift
• Coordinate Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and other operational teams
• Be visible with guests and take ownership of their experience
• Lead shift briefings, operational checks and smooth handovers
• Coach and support teams to deliver exceptional service
• Resolve operational and guest challenges quickly and professionally
• Maintain excellent standards across service, presentation, safety and operational readiness
• Act as the operational leader on duty when required

What are we looking for?

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism or a related field
• 3–5 years’ experience in hotel or hospitality operations
• Previous supervisory, Duty Manager or similar operational leadership experience
• Strong understanding of Front Office, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage
• Experience in an upscale, boutique or full-service hotel is an advantage
• Confident, energetic and guest-focused leadership style
• Strong communication, problem-solving and team coordination skills
