We are looking for an Associate Member of Technical Staff (AMTS) to join the Archive team! You will play a valuable role in developing and maintaining our data archiving solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and learn from experienced engineers to help deliver products that comply with industry standards and regulations, while delivering strong performance and reliability.

Your Impact

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data archiving solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other team members to understand requirements and help translate them into working code.
• Learn and apply industry standards and regulations, including data privacy and security requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and perform debugging to ensure high-quality code.
• Actively seek feedback and mentorship from senior developers, embracing a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay curious about industry trends and emerging technologies, and share what you learn with the team.
  
  

Required Skills

• 0–1 years of experience in software development (internships, co-ops, academic projects, or open-source contributions count).
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
• Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance development efficiency, improve code quality, and streamline workflows — or eagerness to learn.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) through coursework, projects, or internships is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, and a willingness to ask questions and learn.
• Basic understanding of relational and/or non-relational databases (e.g., Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB) is a plus.
