NPI Engineer

We’re Hiring: NPI Engineer | Medical Devices 🚀

We’re looking for an NPI Engineer to join a leading medical device organization and support the transition of innovative products from R&D to mass production.

What you’ll do:

• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from prototype to production
• Support Design Transfer and product lifecycle processes
• Build and maintain complex BOMs and manufacturing documentation
• Lead Engineering Changes (ECOs) and evaluate their impact on production, testing, and supply chain
• Define and execute Validation processes and testing requirements
• Lead FAI (First Article Inspection) activities
• Design and define jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing tools
• Work closely with R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Operations, and international suppliers
• Support prototype builds, production line training, and Dry Runs
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and support manufacturing improvements

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field- MUST
• 1–2 years of experience in an engineering environment – relevant hands-on experience gained during studies may also be considered- MUST
• Experience in the medical device industry – MUST
• Fluent Hebrew and English
• Basic knowledge of optics – an advantage
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plastic engineering – an advantage
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
