🚀 We are recruiting PhD students in Neuro-AI at the Technion

The Technion Neuro-AI Lab is looking for talented researchers interested in understanding and building neural systems — from biological circuits to artificial neural networks.

Our work spans computational neuroscience, theoretical neuroscience, machine learning, Brain–Computer Interfaces, and AI, including projects involving neural population dynamics, advanced neural recordings, BCIs in rodents and humans, and modern machine-learning models.

We are particularly interested in candidates from Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Neuroscience, Biology, and related fields.

🔹 Computational / AI projects

Machine learning, neural networks, representation learning, and AI.

Ideal backgrounds: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics.

🔹 Theoretical neuroscience

Developing mathematical and computational theories of neural population dynamics and predictions for experiments.

Ideal backgrounds: Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science.

🔹 Experimental + computational neuroscience / BCI

Developing experimental systems and computational methods for studying and interfacing with neural circuits, in collaboration with experimental and clinical partners.

Ideal backgrounds: Neuroscience, Biology, Medicine, Engineering — with strong quantitative or computational skills.
