Laboratory Manager

Laboratory Manager | Defense Systems

We are looking for a technical and hands-on Laboratory Manager to take overall responsibility for the operation, maintenance and availability of laboratory infrastructure and equipment.

The role includes:

• Troubleshooting and providing immediate technical support for hardware, software and computer systems

• Managing repairs, suppliers, quotations and procurement processes

• Monitoring repair quality and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues

• Performing and coordinating periodic equipment calibrations

• Planning, establishing and supporting new laboratories from specification through delivery

• Working with multiple technical and professional interfaces across the organization

• Leading and supporting a small technical team

Requirements:

• Practical Engineer / Engineering Technician – required

• 3–5 years of relevant experience – required

• SAP experience – an advantage

• Previous team management experience – an advantage

• Strong technical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
