About the job

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to build, maintain, and operate the infrastructure behind our large-scale, mission-critical production systems. You’ll work hands-on with our on-premises infrastructure, keeping complex systems running while building and improving infrastructure, automation, and tooling, and working closely with our development teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and improve large-scale, mission-critical production environments.
2. Build infrastructure, tooling, and automation to improve reliability and efficiency.
3. Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux, networking, containers, databases, and distributed systems.
4. Develop automation using Python, Bash, and tools such as Ansible.
5. Manage monitoring, observability, deployments, and CI/CD processes.
6. Work closely with development teams and take ownership of infrastructure challenges from end to end.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience operating complex production environments at scale.
2. On-Premises & Linux: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with on-premises infrastructure, Linux, and operating systems.
3. Kubernetes & Containers: Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
4. Scripting & Automation: Strong Python and Bash skills.
5. Networking: Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including DNS, HTTPS, TCP, and VPN.
6. Infrastructure Technologies: Experience with relational databases, monitoring/observability, CI/CD, Git, and security practices.
7. Databases: Experience operating relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
8. Ownership & Collaboration: Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly motivated, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
