Role Description

Clalit Innovation is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to build product layers around AI solutions and models.

The role involves close collaboration with Data Scientists, software development teams and infrastructure teams. The developer will be responsible for turning models and prototypes into secure, stable and scalable enterprise products.

This is a cross-functional role intended for a versatile developer who can handle a broad range of responsibilities, quickly learn new technologies, and independently drive solutions from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop backend systems, including micro services and APIs.

● Build user interfaces and frontend applications for internal products.

● Develop integration layers connecting AI models, data sources, enterprise systems, and user-

facing applications.

● Troubleshoot production issues, improve system performance, and provide ongoing technical

support after product release.

● Collaborate across multiple teams, stakeholders, systems, and technologies.

Requirements

● At least 5 years of substantial backend development experience in Python.

● Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and services.

● Experience debugging, monitoring, maintaining, and supporting systems in production

environments.

● Experience working with relational databases and/or Big Data and data-streaming technologies,

such as Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kafka.

● Familiarity with core Data Science and Machine Learning concepts.

● Strong self-learning capabilities and the ability to quickly adopt new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience building user interfaces and frontend applications.

● Familiarity with LLM technologies, platforms, and development tools.

● Experience designing and developing batch processes pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and

Azure DevOps.
