Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

Jurni is the AI-native platform redefining eCommerce, turning static storefronts into dynamic, personalized experiences that adapt to how each customer shops. We're already live in production, powering personalized experiences for millions of consumers, and growing fast.

We're selective about who joins us. Our lean engineering team is made up of people who've built and delivered at a high level before, and we're looking for one more exceptional Full Stack Engineer to raise the bar again. You'll work directly with the founding team, own projects end-to-end, and shape the technical direction of a product already proving itself at scale.

What You'll Do

• Own features end-to-end, from product and technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment
• Build and refine AI-powered features, pushing on quality, performance, and cost
• Build across both our merchant-facing dashboard and customer-facing storefronts
• Solve real performance and scalability challenges as usage grows
• Design and evolve our APIs, services, and data models
• Work with event and usage data at scale across our product and analytics systems
• Help define our architecture and engineering practices as we grow

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years building and delivering production software at a high bar
• Strong React and Next.js chops, with real UI/UX judgment
• Strong Node.js and TypeScript skills, with a track record of well-tested, production-grade APIs and services
• Hands-on experience with Postgres and relational data modeling
• Experience with AWS and containerized systems (we run Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with Redis and caching strategies
• Sharp instincts around testing, debugging, observability, and systems design
• Strong product intuition and attention to detail
• Comfort making calls and driving forward in ambiguity

Nice to Have

• Experience building AI/ML-powered products
• E-commerce or Shopify experience
• Experience with A/B testing or experimentation
• Familiarity with ClickHouse, Temporal, data pipelines, or event-driven architectures
• Experience with CDNs, caching, or edge infrastructure
