Responsibilities

• Management and leadership of all operational activities, in exceptional events and emergency situations.
• Responsibility for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the production units and auxiliary systems.
• Management of the operations teams, the station chemist and the operations technician, including professional development, authorization, qualifications and performance control.
• Management of the shift system, setting priorities and ensuring the operational readiness of the station.
• Monitoring and analyzing the station's performance, including availability, reliability, efficiency and operational limitations, and leading continuous improvement processes.
• Leading the operational work interfaces with maintenance, engineering, HSE and other station departments.
• Leading the station's operational aspect, including the provision of orders, limitations and readiness for supply interruption events.
• Professional work and interfaces with the Ministry of Environmental Protection, equipment manufacturers, suppliers and contractors.
• Building the annual work plan and budget of the operations department, performing budgetary controls, managing forecasts and monitoring compliance with the approved budget.
• Leading tasks and processes from end to end, while operating internal and external interfaces until a decision is made, implemented and the issue is closed.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience operating a complex industrial facility.
• Significant experience in operating a control room and power generation systems.
• Previous experience in managing an operational team and/or in a shift manager role.
• Proven experience in managing employees and leading multiple professional interfaces.
• Ability to analyze events and failures, make decisions and lead processes under pressure.
• Ability to manage independently, motivate employees and interfaces and lead tasks from end to end.
• Ability to manage work plans and budgets.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and operational information systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• High-level technical English, reading, writing and speaking.
