Nairobi's leading boutique luxury apart-hotel seeks an energetic, organized and guest-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor – Events & Conferencing to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys the energy of conferences, corporate functions, private events and special occasions, and who takes pride in ensuring every detail of the guest experience is delivered to the highest standard.

• Working closely with the F&B Management and Events & Conferencing teams, you will supervise the successful delivery of food and beverage services for meetings, conferences, banquets and events.
• The successful candidate should be confident on the floor, comfortable coordinating teams and able to remain calm, professional and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  

• • Supervise the set-up and smooth execution of conferences, meetings, banquets and private events
• • Ensure food and beverage service is delivered efficiently and to luxury hospitality standards
• • Brief and supervise service teams before and during events
• • Coordinate closely with the Events, Kitchen and F&B teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• • Monitor guest requirements and respond promptly to requests or service issues
• • Ensure correct table settings, buffet presentation, service equipment and event layouts
• • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene and guest service
• • Assist with stock control, requisitions and effective use of F&B resources
• • Provide hands-on support during busy periods and ensure events run smoothly from set-up through to completion
  

✔ Minimum 2–3 years' experience in Food & Beverage within a quality 4- or 5-star hotel, conference facility or luxury hospitality environment

✔ Previous experience in banqueting, events & conferences is highly advantageous

✔ Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards

✔ Proven ability to supervise and motivate a team

✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

✔ Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

✔ Professional, confident and guest-focused personality

✔ Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure

✔ Experience with MICROS and/or Symphony POS will be an added advantage

✔ Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

✔ Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required
