Global Commercial Services Specialist

Position Summary:

This role is part of Ribbon's Global Commercial Services team and has a direct impact on the company's business success. Working closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product Management, and global partners, you will support the development of service proposals and pricing for IP, Optical, and Software Solutions, helping network operators deploy and optimize next-generation communications networks.

Key Responsibilities

Services Pricing & Proposal Support

• Support the preparation of service proposals and pricing for customer opportunities.
• Assist with cost and margin analysis for service offerings and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product Management, and Business Management teams to gather information required for proposals.
• Support the development and maintenance of service price lists and quoting tools.
• Help improve quoting processes to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
• Contribute to the development of new service offerings and commercial models.
• Maintain accurate records of proposals and support reporting and analysis of pricing and business trends.
• Assist with services approval processes and opportunity tracking within Salesforce.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a technical, commercial, sales engineering, proposal management, or customer-facing role.
• Interest in networking technologies, including IP, Optical, or Software solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data, pricing, and business information.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global, cross-functional environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  
  

• Experience in the telecommunications or networking industry.
• Experience working in technical sales, solutions engineering, proposal support, or commercial operations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Exposure to pricing analysis, business case development, or project coordination.
