Job Description

• Lead the organization's application software development, planning, maintenance, and information systems implementation activities.
• Lead the development of a central system for managing regulatory processes for the Israel Fire and Rescue Authority, focusing on business licensing and construction.
• Manage, mentor, and provide professional and personal leadership to multiple development teams consisting of diverse roles and professionals.
• Lead end-to-end technology projects, from requirements gathering and system specification through full delivery to the customer and production environment.
• Manage project scope, timelines, priorities, and complex dependencies between teams.
• Make technological decisions regarding system development and present them to senior management and business stakeholders.
• Manage and coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, maintaining a high level of organization and structure.

Job Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience in the IT field, including experience managing employees.
• At least 5 years of experience in software development or information systems analysis.
• Proven experience providing professional and personal leadership to multiple development teams comprising diverse roles and professionals.
• Proven experience leading technology projects from the specification phase through delivery to the customer.
• Hands-on experience managing project scope, timelines, task prioritization, and dependencies between teams.
• Proven ability to make technological decisions regarding system development and communicate them to senior management and business stakeholders.
• Relevant academic education.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, broad systems thinking, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
