Senior JavaScript Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Web Security & Browser Engineer to lead the engineering of client-side data collection mechanisms. In this role, you will design and optimize low-overhead JavaScript engines to collect critical telemetry (behavioral patterns, device fingerprints, and browser API signals) securely and resiliently. You will take full technical ownership—from architecture and code execution to global deployment and system health tracking.

Core Responsibilities

• Advanced Client-Side Engineering: Architect and optimize high-performance vanilla JavaScript solutions to extract browser characteristics and security signals efficiently.
• End-to-End Ownership: Lead the complete software lifecycle, including client-side architecture, code reviews, deployment pipelines, performance tracking, and post-launch iteration.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner closely with Security Researchers, Data Science, Product Management, and Core R&D teams to translate complex detection needs into client-side capabilities.
• Engineering Excellence: Set front-end security standards, mentor fellow developers, and champion pixel-perfect, zero-latency execution.

What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with deep mastery of vanilla JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and browser internals.
• Web Security Foundations: Strong grasp of client-side security concepts, browser APIs, cross-browser compatibility nuances, and sandboxing.
• Hands-on Technical Leadership: Passion for active coding, architectural decision-making, and conducting deep-dive code reviews.
• Server-Side Context: Practical exposure to typed backend environments (such as Go or Java).
• Mindset: Strong collaboration skills, exceptional analytical thinking, and a drive to build elegant, high-throughput technical solutions.
