DevOps Team Lead

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps & Cloud Team Lead to join a key role focused on establishing, shaping, and leading the organization's DevOps function. The position combines team leadership, broad technical ownership, and hands-on involvement, offering an opportunity to shape the organization's infrastructure and technology practices for the long term.

The role includes developing processes and methodologies, designing and building cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, security, and monitoring, while establishing standards and practices that support the organization's technological needs.

The position involves working across Azure and AWS environments, in close collaboration with Development, Infrastructure, and Information Security teams. The role will also contribute to building and developing the organization's DevOps capabilities and team over time.

This position is ideal for a senior DevOps professional looking for broad technical ownership, architectural involvement, the opportunity to build a function from the ground up, and a meaningful impact on the organization's technology practices.

Responsibilities:

• Establishing, shaping, and leading the DevOps function.

• Developing methodologies, processes, and professional standards.

• Designing and building Cloud infrastructure and infrastructure environments.

• Designing and implementing CI/CD processes and automation.

• Working with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Advancing automation across development and operational processes.

• Collaborating closely with Development, Infrastructure, and Security teams.

• Integrating security considerations into development and delivery processes.

• Implementing Monitoring & Observability solutions.

• Improving the stability, availability, and performance of systems and environments.

• Building and developing DevOps capabilities.

• Evaluating and adopting new technologies and tools, including AI-based solutions.

Must-Have Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps + 2 years of experience managing technical teams.

• Significant experience designing and implementing CI/CD processes.

• Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS environments.

• Experience designing, building, and managing Cloud infrastructure, including Networking, Security, Identity, and access management.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.

• Experience developing scripts and automation using PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python.

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, operating systems, networking, and information security.

Advantages:

• Experience with Kubernetes in Production environments.

• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.

• Experience working in Multi-Cloud environments.

• Experience designing and implementing Cloud Landing Zones.

• Experience with Ansible or similar Configuration Management tools.

• Development experience with Python or Go.

• Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.

• Experience using AI tools to support development and operational processes.
