At UNIT AI, we are building a revolutionary Physical AI platform: a global fleet of intelligent robots redefining warehouse logistics.

This is not your typical CRUD backend job. We don't build standard web APIs or simple dashboard integrations. We build the central orchestration engine that controls real-time fleet operations for physical robots, bridging high-performance backend architecture, real-time messaging, embedded behaviors, and complex routing algorithms.

When our code runs, an entire physical fleet moves in perfect synchronization. Timing, distributed state, concurrency, and zero-fault execution are everything.

Backed by tier-one strategic investors and led by veteran second-time founders, we are a lean, fast-moving team based in the Caesarea Business Park (conveniently located right at the Caesarea Train Station—avoiding Tel Aviv traffic).

• Fleet Orchestration & Backend Architecture: Design, build, and scale high-throughput backend services that control multi-robot coordination, task allocation, and real-time state management.
• Real-Time State & Concurrency: Manage SQL, transactions, Redis, and high-performance messaging systems handling real-time data under strict timing constraints.
• Engineering Rigor & Quality: Apply a strong Test-Driven Development (TDD) mindset—writing resilient code and the test suites that prove it works flawlessly under real-world physical pressure.
• Full-Stack System Troubleshooting: Hunt down complex edge cases and race conditions across distributed microservices, databases, background jobs, telemetry, and hardware APIs.
• Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate daily with Algorithm, Embedded, Hardware, and Product teams to turn complex physical challenges into scalable software architecture.

• 8+ years of deep backend experience building complex, high-performance distributed systems using C# / .NET Core, Java, or Python.
• 5+ years of hands-on data & architecture experience with relational databases (SQL is a must), transaction isolation, Redis, and asynchronous messaging architectures (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, MQTT).
• Proven expertise in concurrency, multithreading, distributed state management, and edge-case engineering.
• Strong TDD mindset and commitment to automated testing, continuous integration, and production stability.
• Exceptional system-level troubleshooting and log-debugging skills across multi-layered architectures.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent elite IDF tech unit background).

• Experience with Robotics, AGVs, AMRs, IoT fleets, or autonomous systems.
• Background in real-time systems, industrial automation, or high-frequency/high-throughput environments.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native deployment pipelines.
• Prior startup experience or a background in elite technical intelligence units (e.g., 8200, 81).
