Technology Risk Manager

A leading financial organization is looking for an experienced technology professional to join its Risk Management division and take on a key role at the intersection of Technology, Risk, Cyber, Data and Business.

This is an opportunity for a technology professional who wants to move beyond day-to-day technology operations and into a role focused on challenging, analyzing and managing technology risks at an organizational level.

You will work closely with technology teams and senior stakeholders, gain broad exposure to the organization’s technology landscape, and play a key role in ensuring that critical technology risks are properly identified, assessed and managed.

What You'll Do

• Analyze technology risks across systems, infrastructure, cloud, digital products and technology processes
• Independently assess and challenge technology risk assessments performed by technology and business teams
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls aimed at mitigating technology risks
• Provide risk oversight and guidance for major technology projects and initiatives
• Analyze significant technology incidents and failures, identify root causes and participate in lessons-learned processes
• Assess technology and system risk surveys and their impact on related business processes
• Monitor technology-related regulatory requirements and assess compliance from a second-line risk perspective
• Define and monitor key technology risk indicators and trends
• Prepare risk reports and insights for senior management, steering committees and the Board
• Work across Technology, Cyber, Business, Compliance and Risk functions

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related technological field
• Proven experience in technology, such as Software, Infrastructure, Cloud, Digital or related domains – required
• Proven experience managing projects and/or teams, directly or through matrix management – required
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex technology environments and translate them into business and risk implications
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently, make decisions and see the broader organizational picture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English
