Quantum Sensing & Communications Physicist

For our site in Holon, we are looking for a Quantum Sensing & Communications Physicist to lead a new and innovative R&D activity in the field of Rydberg receivers and advanced quantum technologies

Key Responsibilities

Lead, design, establish, and execute research activities and experiments in quantum technologies

Develop physical models and simulations, perform experimental analysis, and compare results with theoretical models

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across RF, signal processing, hardware, and software domains

Drive R&D tasks from concept to implementation while integrating engineering considerations

Requirements

Ph.D. in Physics, specializing in Quantum Technologies

Hands-on experience developing and operating laboratory-based physics experiments

Strong knowledge of quantum technologies and quantum optics

Experience with physical modeling and simulations

Excellent analytical thinking and complex problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

Fast learner with the ability to quickly adopt and integrate new domains and technologies

Advantages

Experience leading teams or technical activities

Strong communication and presentation skills

Background in Quantum Sensing

Knowledge of RF and signal processing
