We are seeking a Yield & Data Infrastructure Engineer to develop and maintain the data infrastructure that supports production and engineering activities, while driving silicon-photonics yield and performance improvement through data-driven analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive issue resolution.

In this role, you will combine data engineering, analytics, and manufacturing yield engineering to transform production, test and engineering data into reliable, accessible and actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain databases and data structures for production, test, and engineering data.

· Build automated data loaders and pipelines to collect, process, validate, and store data from multiple production and engineering sources.

· Ensure data accuracy, consistency, traceability, and availability for engineering analysis.

· Support the development of scalable, data-driven production infrastructure as products transition from development to high-volume manufacturing.

· Design and develop engineering dashboards for monitoring yield, production performance, test results, trends, and key manufacturing KPIs.

· Develop analytical methods and tools to support yield improvement, process optimization, and production monitoring.

· Perform yield and production data analysis to identify failure patterns, process excursions, correlations, and systematic yield-loss mechanisms.

· Work closely with Product, Test, Process, Manufacturing, and R&D engineers to investigate yield issues and drive root-cause analysis.

· Automate repetitive data analysis and reporting activities to improve engineering efficiency and decision-making.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

· 5+ years of experience in semiconductor or silicon-photonics process, test, product, or yield engineering.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, JMP, MATLAB or similar tools.

· Hands-on experience developing data-processing tools, automation solutions, dashboards or engineering analysis applications.

· Ability to translate yield and engineering needs into practical data, automation, visualization and analysis solutions.

· Experience working with large production, manufacturing and test datasets.

· Strong understanding of statistical analysis, yield analysis, and manufacturing data concepts.

· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Desired Skills (Nice to Have):

· Hands-on experience in yield improvement, root-cause analysis or production optimization.

· Technical understanding of silicon or silicon-photonics device fabrication, testing and characterization processes.

· Experience with JSL and engineering automation tools.

· Knowledge and practical experience applying AI and Machine Learning techniques to manufacturing, yield or engineering data.

Education:

· B.Sc. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or a related technical discipline.
