Part-Time Field Investigator – Personal Injury Law

Pay: $30 – $40 an hour
Job Type: Part-time (20–35 hours/week)

Overview
We’re a fast-moving, plaintiff-focused personal injury firm looking for a resourceful, professional, and compassionate Field Investigator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a knack for gathering facts, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist injury clients with intake, including document signing and case information gathering
- Conduct in-person investigations: collect photos/video of scenes and vehicles, secure physical evidence
- Interview witnesses and take written or recorded statements
- Deliver or retrieve documents from clients or third parties
- Maintain detailed reports and timelines
- Communicate regularly with attorneys and case staff to report findings
- Experience in investigations, insurance, private security, journalism, or related field preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to put clients and witnesses at ease
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (required)
- Comfortable with smartphones, Google Docs, and PDF tools
- Self-directed, trustworthy, and deadline-oriented
- Background in law enforcement, legal support, or claims work
- Spanish or other second-language fluency
