Head of Finance

We are looking for a hands-on Global Head of Finance to lead our global finance operations.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a high-potential finance leader who is ready to take the next step in their career. We are open to experienced Finance Managers or Finance Directors looking to transition into their first Head of Finance role, as well as candidates with previous Head of Finance or VP Finance experience who enjoy building and leading operational finance functions.

What You Will Do

The role is highly operational, with end-to-end responsibility for the company’s finance activities. You will manage a team of two bookkeepers, work closely with the CEO, and ensure smooth and efficient financial operations across multiple international markets.

This is a hands-on controllership role that requires a qualified CPA comfortable managing day-to-day accounting while also building financial processes, controls, and infrastructure from the ground up.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

• Is a qualified CPA with strong, hands-on controllership and accounting experience.
• Has proven experience working in product companies; experience in a SaaS company is a significant advantage.
• Has mandatory international experience managing financial activities across multiple countries.
• Is capable of professionally managing and developing a team of two bookkeepers.
• Enjoys being hands-on and closely involved in daily finance operations.
• Has experience establishing finance processes, controls, and reporting infrastructure from scratch.
• Is eager to grow into a broader finance leadership role.
• Brings strong accounting and financial management capabilities.
• Has an international mindset and enjoys working across different countries and cultures.

• CPA qualification – mandatory.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, such as Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Finance Director, or Head of Finance.
• Strong hands-on controllership experience, including month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, controls, and audit management.
• Proven experience in a product company – mandatory; experience in a SaaS company is a significant advantage.
• International finance experience – mandatory, including responsibility for financial operations across multiple countries, entities, currencies, and regulatory environments.
• Experience managing, mentoring, and professionally developing finance team members; this role directly manages two bookkeepers.
• Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, collections, treasury, and day-to-day financial operations.
• Proven ability to build finance processes, controls, reporting, and operational infrastructure from the ground up.
• Ability and willingness to remain hands-on and closely involved in daily accounting and finance activities.
• Excellent English, both written and spoken – mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills, business judgment, and a commercial mindset.
• Ability to partner effectively with the CEO, leadership team, and other business stakeholders.
• Experience supporting fundraising, financial due diligence, M&A, or exit processes – an advantage.
• Experience implementing or improving ERP, automation, and financial systems – an advantage.
