Senior System Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator for a hands-on role, with full responsibility for Microsoft infrastructure in a hybrid environment (On-Prem + Cloud), with a strong focus on servers and VMware-based virtualization.

The role is part of a professional System Administration team and includes building and maintaining complex environments, handling Tier 2/3 incidents, troubleshooting complex issues, and leading infrastructure projects end-to-end.

• Manage, plan, and build VMware-based virtualization infrastructures (Clusters, vCenter, ESXi Hosts)
• Optimization, Capacity Planning, and troubleshooting of complex issues
• Responsibility for a hybrid Microsoft environment: Active Directory, Integration with Azure AD / Entra ID
• Manage Azure AD Connect
• Manage Microsoft 365: Users, Licensing, Exchange Online, Access security (MFA, Conditional Access)
• Manage Windows Server environments: Deployment, Upgrades, Maintenance
• Manage Veeam-based backup systems: Backups, Restores, DR planning
• Lead and execute infrastructure projects: Deployments, Migrations, Upgrades of virtual and physical environments
• Automation and process improvement using PowerShell
• Ongoing work as part of a System Administration team, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Responsibility for the availability and stability of systems in a Production environment

• 4-5 years of experience as a System Administrator in a medium-sized/large organization
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory - (GPO, DNS, Replication)
• Proven experience in implementing and managing VMware infrastructures
• Experience in a hybrid environment - (On-Prem + Microsoft 365 / Azure)
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing an enterprise Microsoft 365 environment
• Experience managing Entra ID (Azure AD) – users, groups, roles, Conditional Access, MFA
• Experience managing Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive
• Experience implementing and managing security and compliance policies (Conditional Access, MFA, DLP, Retention)
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 licensing and license assignment, including dynamic groups
• Experience working in a Hybrid environment (Azure AD Connect with on-premises Active Directory)
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in a Microsoft 365 environment
• Experience working in an enterprise environment with users and additional IT teams
• Experience handling complex incidents (Tier 2/3)
• Knowledge and experience with PowerShell (script writing and automation)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, while also demonstrating leadership and independent work capabilities

• VMware (VCP) / Microsoft certifications
• Experience with advanced server hardware
• Experience with centralized storage systems
• Experience with automation in a hybrid environment (On-Prem + Cloud)
