The role

Are you a hands-on Operational Leader who doesn't just spot bottlenecks, but actively drives the root-cause solution?

We are looking for a Supply Chain & Operations Manager to join our team at Hunter Douglas Israel!

In this role, reporting directly to the CEO, you will hold full ownership over our daily manufacturing operations, local procurement, and material management. We need a strong operational leader who thrives on the shop floor, knows how to spot problems, and has the practical Lean mindset to fix them and elevate our operational maturity.

What will you do?

• Drive Operational Excellence: Lead daily plant operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) targets.
• Embed HDMS & Lean Culture: Implement and advance the Hunter Douglas Management System (HDMS)—leading Tier meetings, visual management, Kaizen, and structured root-cause problem solving.
• Develop People: Direct management of key department managers (Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance) and develop frontline supervisors to lead 60+ employees effectively.
• Full Procurement Ownership: Manage end-to-end local sourcing, supplier performance (OTIF, quality), contract negotiations, and alignment with global sourcing strategies.

What are we looking for?

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related technical field – Mandatory.
• Experience: 7+ years of operational leadership within a global/corporate manufacturing environment.
• Problem Solvers with Lean DNA: Practical experience in implementing operational management systems (Lean, TPS, HDMS). Lean certification (Green Belt/Practitioner) is a strong advantage.
• Supply Chain Expertise: Strong background in local procurement, raw materials management, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and commercial negotiations.
• People Leadership: Proven track record in managing and coaching managers and frontline supervisors.
• Languages: Fluent English and Hebrew (written and spoken) – essential for global collaboration.
