About the Role

A leading defense organization is looking for a Test Automation Software Developer to join an advanced engineering team developing automated testing solutions for complex systems.

In this role, you'll design and develop software for automated test environments, integrate hardware and software components, and contribute to testing infrastructure supporting advanced technological systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop Automated Test Equipment (ATE/BITE) software solutions.
• Develop software using Python, C#, or C++.
• Integrate software with hardware, controllers, and communication interfaces.
• Implement and support communication protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485.
• Perform hardware/software integration activities.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing test systems.
• Collaborate with Software, Hardware, System Engineering, Manufacturing, and Support teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of software development experience.
• Professional experience with at least one of the following: Python, C#, or C++.
• Experience integrating software with hardware.
• Experience working with communication protocols including RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, UDP, and TCP/IP.
• Experience using configuration management tools such as Git, TFS, or ClearCase.
• Experience writing and reviewing technical documentation.
• Fluent English.
