Role Description The Logic Design Team Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in the Haifa District, Israel. This role is responsible for leading a team of logic designers in the development, verification, and optimization of digital logic for medtech devices and systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating design activities, defining architecture and design specifications, reviewing design and verification plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The Logic Design Team Leader collaborates closely with cross-functional teams such as hardware, firmware, systems engineering, and quality to align logic design with overall product requirements. The role also involves mentoring team members, improving design methodologies and workflows, and reporting project status, risks, and technical issues to leadership.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in digital logic design, including architecture definition, RTL design, and optimization for performance, power, and area.
- Experience with logic verification methodologies, simulation tools, and debugging complex digital systems.
- Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools and design flows for ASIC, FPGA, or system-on-chip development.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including team management, mentoring, and coordination of multi-disciplinary projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound technical decisions in a regulated environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to collaborate effectively with global and local stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience in medical devices or other highly regulated industries is an advantage, including familiarity with quality and safety standards.
- Ability to work on-site in the Haifa District, Israel, and operate effectively in a diverse, inclusive team environment.
