Head of Procurement / Procurement Director

About the Role

A leading Israeli building envelope manufacturing and construction company specializing in complex, high-profile projects (high-rise towers, luxury residential, and public structures) is seeking a seasoned Head of Procurement.

This is a key leadership role with direct impact on organizational performance and end-to-end supply chain strategy. You will oversee large-scale project procurement, lead an experienced team of buyers, and work closely with executive management and company ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Full operational and strategic leadership of the procurement department.
• Manage, mentor, and guide an experienced team of buyers.
• Collaborate closely with tender managers starting from early bidding phases.
• Source, select, and manage long-term strategic supplier partnerships across Israel and globally.
• Formulate, negotiate, and oversee major framework agreements ($20M+).
• Lead large-scale project-based procurement to guarantee continuous raw material availability.
• Drive high-level commercial negotiations, cost-saving initiatives, and procurement efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Production, Logistics, PPC (תפ"י), Quality, and C-level executives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience leading a large procurement department – must.
• Proven background in project-based procurement within manufacturing industries involving complex assemblies / building envelopes – must.
• Hands-on experience managing framework agreements valued at $20M+ – must.
• Solid experience in global procurement and international vendor management – must.
• Proven track record in team leadership and people management – must.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems – must.
• High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex data modeling, analysis, and insights) – must.
• Fluent English and Hebrew (written and verbal) – must.
