Senior Data Analyst

Join the Data + AI division of one of Israel's leading financial organizations and take a key role in analyzing complex data processes and leading Data Quality initiatives across the organization. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll work across the full data lifecycle, combining deep technical expertise with strong business understanding to investigate complex data flows, define data controls, and independently lead data quality initiatives end-to-end.

What You'll Do:

• Lead end-to-end Data Quality and data control processes across complex organizational environments
• Analyze complex business processes, understand end-to-end data flows, and define relevant KPIs and controls
• Identify, investigate, and connect data across multiple sources, including DWH, Data Lake, and core systems
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data analysis, investigation, validation, and insight generation
• Investigate data structures, dependencies, and logical relationships across different organizational data layers
• Identify data gaps and anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and define appropriate controls and solutions
• Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand processes, requirements, and data challenges
• Lead meetings and drive tasks independently across multiple business and technology teams
• Support Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives that form the foundation for advanced AI capabilities across the organization
• Independently learn and investigate new business and data domains while managing multiple initiatives in parallel

Requirements:

Must Haves:

• 8+ years of significant experience working with data, including extensive hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries
• Proven hands-on experience working with ETL processes
• Experience working with large-scale data environments and databases, such as DWH, Data Lake, SQL, Big Data, or MongoDB
• Strong ability to independently retrieve, analyze, and investigate data across multiple data layers and systems
• Proven experience independently leading complex analytical processes end-to-end
• Strong understanding of complex business processes and the ability to translate them into data analysis, KPIs, and controls
• Ability to independently investigate unfamiliar domains, identify root causes, and drive solutions
• Strong ownership, initiative, and ability to drive cross-functional processes with both business and technology stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience in banking, credit card companies, FinTech, or other complex financial environments
• Experience with Data Quality and Data Governance processes
• Experience working with Data Lakes
• Experience with Quilliup or similar Data Quality and control tools
