Project Manager - Construction

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception through completion. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, comprehensive construction knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Management

Lead and manage construction projects from planning phase through project closeout

Develop comprehensive project plans including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies

Oversee day-to-day project operations and coordinate all construction activities on site

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality specifications

Make critical decisions regarding project direction, priorities, and resource deployment

Team Coordination & Supervision

Lead and coordinate project teams including contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal staff

Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate between all project stakeholders

Provide clear direction and guidance to field teams and ensure alignment with project goals

Resolve conflicts and address issues promptly to maintain project momentum

Client & Stakeholder Management

Serve as primary point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycle

Present project updates, reports, and recommendations to clients and senior management

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels

Manage client expectations and communicate proactively regarding project status and changes

Financial & Contract Management

Develop and manage project budgets, tracking costs and controlling expenditures

Review and approve purchase orders, change orders, and payment applications

Negotiate contracts with contractors, suppliers, and consultants

Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions when necessary

Ensure proper documentation and contract compliance

Quality & Safety Oversight

Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements

Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections

Ensure all work meets building codes, regulations, and project specifications

Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective measures

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, drawings, specifications, and correspondence

Prepare regular progress reports for clients and management

Track project milestones and deliverables

Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Minimum 3-4 Years Of Experience Managing Construction Projects

Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget

Technical Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems

Strong understanding of construction contracts, specifications, and regulatory requirements

Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents

Preferred Qualifications

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification

Professional engineering license or equivalent

Experience with specific construction sectors (commercial, residential, industrial, etc.)

Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes
